An ambulance for Angostura

Beyond acting as an emergency medical transport to connect patients to emergency care, the vehicle will be used to transport medical staff, haul medicine, support local health drives, and crucially, provide dignified funeral transport services for the community.

The Health Board in Angostura plans to implement a self-sustaining financial model once the vehicle is operational to cover fuel, maintenance, and running costs independently. While ondawave will fundraise for the cost of the vehicle, ongoing maintenance costs will be owned by community members in Angostura.
